DKP, "der Kleiner panzer" or The little tank. DKP is a So-Cal car club that upholds the traditions of the original sixties southern Californian bug enthusiasts. DKPoffroad are not capitalising on the fame of the DKP following, instead we are paying homage to their commitment to grass roots modifying of VW Beetles. DKPoffroad as the name suggests focus on the enjoyment of building and driving Bajas, Beetles and buggies for off road fun.
We are family guys with regular jobs. We work to constraints of both finances and family time. We solve our engineering problems with our brains and ingenuity, NOT a bottomless bank account. No cheque book engineering here!
